Мне посоветовали установить драйвер с www.intel.com
Однако у меня уже была неудачная попытка установить этот
драйвер в другом дистрибутиве Linux.
Поэтому хотелось бы уточнить некоторые моменты.
1. Что такое header-ы ядра? В инструкциях написано
установить исходники ядра. Они существуют в различных
версиях - 386, 586, 686. Какую ставить. У ALTLinux Junior
2.2 ядро оптимизировано под 586.
Надо ли ставить исходники ядра. На 2-м диске имеются
несколько файлов kernel:
kernel24-linus-smp-2.4.20-alt4.i586.rpm
kernel-headers-common-1.0-alt2.noarch.rpm
kernel24-headers-2.4.20-alt6.i586.rpm
kernel24-linus-headers-2.4.20-alt4.i586.rpm
Их надо ставить все или какой то конкретно?
2. Нужен ли компилятор gcc для сборки драйвера (при
установке Junuor он не ставиться)? Если нужен, то как его
правильно установить. Он тянет за собой несколько библиотек,
в каком порядке их устанавливать? Раньше у меня выдавалась
ошибка конфликта версий, надеюсь здесь не будет.
