возможно сервер недоступен по иным нежели переход на 2.4
причинам, кончилось время действия пароля и т.п., у меня проблем
не возникло никаких. Кстати:
ncpmount -S SERVER -U USER /novell/

я вставил команду в ncmount -> /etc/rc.d/rc.local
