А ты уверен в качестве звучания? У меня без поключения "алсу" были проблемы с
темпом проигрывания, кроме того при проигрывании видио (например формата mpg)
была плохая синхронизация звука и видео ряда. А в soilblither (myth2 by Loki)
вобще было невозможно играть
...

ALSA для 2.2.18.
kmidi работает, но нельзя сказать что нормально. При проигрывании *mid файлов
иногда прорываются хрипы. Подозреваю, что дело в настройке разных там портов
и прерываний алсу драйвера (via686a), что задается в modules.conf, но я в
этом не разбираюсь я взял пример из описания INSTALL
(/usr/src/kernel/drivers/alsa*/)
kmid (караОке) у меня не работает, каюсь. После запуска проигрывания
какого-нибудь *kar - звук не идет, хотя различные индикаторы исправно кажут
развитие процесса
