Здравствуйте,
Мой друг столкнулся с проблемой при установке Спринга - Иксы
отказываются работать с разрешением 1024*768.
Как оказалось, проблема является давно известной - во всем
виноват чипсет SiS...
Решение проблемы тоже, как выяснилось, существует. Для этого
предлагается сделать следующее:
"set kernel VESA frame buffer support (not SiS support!) and set
the same resolution for frame buffer and for X."
Я был бы очень признателен, если кто-нибудь пошагово, опишет,
каким образом в Спринге установить поддержку этого kernel VESA
frame buffer, а затем там разобраться и с разрешением.
