1) leafnode - NNTP server for small (dialup) sites
2) No authentication or access control is supported.
IMHO, этого достаточно, чтобы повозится с чем-то посолиднее... Это я так, в
первые 15 секунд вычитал, дальше может что еще есть "интересное".
Имеет смысл запустить News Server, а не качалку a la fetchnews... Впрочем, у
всех задачи разные.
А с INN повозится все-таки надо, как выяснилось. Запускается-то она по
дефолту почти сходу, но несколько файлов надо редактировать вдумчиво и
разбираясь в куче параметров, и только после этого будет счастье... Чтения
манов для не имевшего с этими сервисами/конфигами дела человеку, типа меня,
хватит надолго :)
Пока я даже не могу впихнуть в нее свои названия групп :(( Она "кажет" свои
из файла /var/lib/news/newsgroups, а вписывание туда моих игнорирует. Кроме
того, отдельного изучения требует файл /etc/news/newsfeeds и егойный
синтаксис... Короче, на чердак и читать, читать, читать...
Разбираюсь, правда, урывками, но, если стану-таки умным, могу поделится тут
опытом :))
