не включил опцию usb=yes в файле /etc/sysconfig/usb
эта опция включает при загрузке монтирование usb fs после чего usbview
должен увидеть все устройства подключеные в сисетму
-------- устаревшие способы
в инете есть скриптик делающий тоже самое. Еще один вариант - смонтировать
usb fs в fstab статически - тоже устарелый способ.
