Если не ошибаюсь, то ругань вари идет из-за невоможности доступа к файлу
устройства, если вы не root. Дело в том, что права на /dev/hda... дают
разрешение на чтение и запись непосредственно только root'у, а именно это
варь и ищет, кроме того, могут быть проблемы из-за смонтированости диска.
