Всем привет.
В ходе моих попыток завести 3D-акселерацию на Riva TNT2/Pro 32Mb кое-что
начало получаться, но дальше все страньше и страньше (как говорили Алиса из
страны чудес :). А прикол вот в чем:
Берем OpenGL приложение, скажем, chromium или те же Mesa Gears. Запускаются
через раз и только один раз (в смысле запустил, поработал/поиграл, а дальше
вышел и можешь забыть об opengl до перезагрузки X.). Причем пробовал и от
обычного пользователя, и от root, ничего не выходит. Да, если тот же chromium
или tuxracer запустить из терминала, то видно, что вылетают они с сообщением
SDL Parachute deployed. А в информации xdpyinfo после каждого такого вылета
расширений NV-GLX становится (в смысле перед запуском смотришь - один NV-GLX,
после запуска - уже два раза прописано ну и так далее). Причем от версии дров
совершенно независит, перебробовал все, что только можно.
Пара слов о системе:
Linux Mandrake RE Spring 2001, Kernel 2.4.7-alt3, nvidia driver 1.0-1251,
Xfree86-4.1.0-alt5, SDL-1.2.2, Mesa-3.5-alt2, libGLwrapper-3.5-alt2
Машина: AMD Duron600, Abit 7KTA (Via KT133), 256 Mb Ram, AGP 4X mode.
Причем я качал src.rpm от libSDL, компилил их gcc-2.95.3, как мне тут
присоветовали, ничего не вышло. Так что вот такие вот траблы странные...
Вообще у кого-нить Nvidia-1.0-1251 + Xfree86-4.1.0 пашеть + Via пашеть?
Главное, раньше у меня пахало, сейчас никак вообще....
