Можно использовать шрифты Type1 из пакета pscyr. Брать на
ftp://ftp.vsu.ru/pub/tex/font-packs/pscyr/. После установки
делать так:
в преамбуле поместить
...
\usepackage{pscyr}
...
\renewcommand{\rmdefault}{faq}% например; это если не устраивает
% шрифт по умолчанию в pscyr
...
далее --
$ latex foo.tex
$ dvips -j0 -o foo.ps foo.dvi
--
