У нас была проблема - плата не хотела работать
в режиме UDMA, висла на разных стадиях загрузки ядра.
В сервис-центре поставили диагноз - данная м. плата
несовместима с данной памятью.
Попробуйте
1. Задать параметры ide0=noautotune, ide1=noautotune
2. Поменять память.
3. Поменять IDE-шлейф.
4. Убрать "лишние" платы расширения (например, звуковую карту или
видеограббер).
5. Посмотреть файл /usr/src/linux/Documentation/ide.txt и указать параметры,
перечисленные там на подобные случаи, например hda=slow и пр.
