Попробуйте сами собрать под ваше ядро. У меня так получилось, когда переходил
на 2.4.4, тогда вообще звука не было, а после компиляции - все в порядке. А
заодно еще проверьте права на /dev/sequencer. Пришлите Ваши описания звука из
modules.conf, может в них дело.
