Здравствуйте!
И совсем уж в догонку. Похоже, проблема связана с
антиалиасингом:( Стоило его включить, и тут же появились "бяки" в
mc в окне терминала. Видимо, это вместо каких-либо отсутствующих
символов в шрифтах, так? Буду рыть дальше, АА хочется и mc
хочеться, причем вместе и в KDE:)

Привет, всем!
Подтверждаю проблему. После включения Антиалиасинга (кстати, спасибо
denf@novosoft.ru за помощь) konsole неработоспособна из-за дикого
представления фиксед-шрифтов, выбрать можно только их. Вылечить не смог -
переехал в gnome-terminal.
