IMHO, с Intel EtherExpress Pro _иногда_ случаются проблемы - завистит от
_конкретного_экземпляра_ или _серии_ карты ;-( У меня было несколько карт
этого типа , которые упорно работали только на 10 mbit/sec .
И еще - разные Intel EtherExpress Pro - Like адаптеры по-разному ведут себя
на _нестандартных_ кабелях ;-(
Вобще, IMHO, на кристаллах Intel выпускается масса сетевых адаптеров
третьими фирмами и у каждого - свои _особенности_ . Я как-то попытался
разобраться, что же за карта у меня в руках - так и не понял. PCI ID 8086 -
Intel , кристалл на плате - Intel 82557,кажется, а Win2k ее успешно
определила как IBM-овскую и так с ней и работает.
PS. Прошу прощения, если что не так - мне на больную мозоль наступили ;-(
PPS. На моей машине - 3Com 905b . Нареканий нет.
