Да. apt-cdrom add -d/mnt/cdrom  и apt-cdrom add -d/mnt/cdrom2,
затем apt-get update,  в ответ на это получил:

Да можно, конечно, не так долго и переустановить -- но действительно
ли в этом дело, именно в этом втором знаке после запятой? Я могу и
Master'а поставить, и другой дистрибутив -- знаете, для новичка это
большой соблазн: попытаться решить проблему просто установкой
другого дистрибутива, в котором "уже есть все, что надо". Но только
боюсь, что в итоге у меня будет гора установочных сидюков от разных
дистрибутивов, ни один из которых "не подошел"  :-)  .
