Hello!
Поставил сабж. После этого мне su говорит, что неправильный пароль.
Весь финт ушами состоит в том, что:
1. Логин в консоли как рут проходит без проблем.
2. Пароль, вводимый в su - правильный.
Что делать?

Посмотрите в /etc/pam.d/su и сделайте выбор:
либо добавьте пользователей, которым следует разрешить 'su', в группу
wheel, либо закомментируйте соответствующую строку в /etc/pam.d/su.
