Ну, про готовность оффтопика к работе на десктопе тоже говорить не хочется.
Если я, или другие спецы из нашего отдела ИТ, не пойду и не настрою его
своим юзерам так, что он действительно будет работать, то ни один из них и
не сможет его ни поставить, ни сеть настроить, ни почту - НИЧЕГО. Тем более
поддержку работы с btrieve'вскими базами данных (Platinum у нас, блин, будь
он неладен). Так что линукс в этом плане ничуть не сложнее. С нормально
отстроеной системой любой юзер точно так же может свободно работать. А мне
от этого даже лучше будет, потому что "уронить" систему юзеру будет намного
сложнее.
