Hello!
Переехали на нового хостера, настраиваем там cvs и столкнулись с таким вот
сабжем:
1. Скомпилили, установили, прописали в xinetd.conf
2. Сделали через ssh cvs init
3. Прописали пассворды в CVSROOT/passwd
4. Делаем cvs login - проходит
5. Пытаемся сделать cvs co CVSROOT - тут же нас посылают вот так:
cvs [checkout aborted]: unrecognized auth response from our.server.ru: cvs:
setgroups: Operation not permitted
Почесав репу, обнаруживаем, что на сервере стоит FreeBSD 4.xx, и ф-ции crypt
разные (первоначально перетащенный с другой машины файл CVSROOT/passwd не
сработал - на старой машине crypt был обычный).
Вопрос: может ли на указанную ошибку влиять тот факт, что в 70RE
используется обычный crypt?
Идея же настройки cvs такова: настроить обычный, страшно несекьюрный
pserver, и ходить к нему через ssh'ный туннель.
