У меня сначала при закрузке иксов пишет:
Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
can't set requested samplingrate (requested rate 44100, got rate 32000)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.
При проигрывании файлов в XMMS анализатор шевелится, а звука нет. Громкость
прибавлять пробовал.

Почему у друга на такой же конфигурации звук работает без дополнительных
настроек с самого начала?
