У меня TNT2 16Mb, раньше была Vanta.
С обоими проблем не было.
Единственное, что я брал X с ftp.xfree.org бинарики и их ставил.
Если смотреть log, то OpenGL драйвер у тебя грузится:
...loading libGL.so:
Initializing OpenGL display
...setting mode 6: 1024 768
а вот почему дальше не работает - мало данных.
Кстати, у меня глюк такой проявляется, что если в Q3 текстуры и цвет 16bit,
а в X - 24,
то Q3 плюет на конфиг и играет в 24 битном цвете, приходится X в 16 bit
запускать.
Забыл сказать - щас у меня ASPLinux RC3 стоит. : ))
До этого стоял BC 6.2 - но и там все работало ( после установки glibc 2.2)
