Вот поставил я себе Linux Mandrake Russian Edition Spring 2001 и попытался
стартануть Иксы на своей Банше от Даймонда (см subj). При сервере 4.0.3 (как
с поддержкой аппаратного 3D, так и без) выдает на экран полную лажу, хотя
сквозь вертикальные полосы отдельные части пингвинов можно рассмотреть. Что
характерно, при выборе 3.X.X сервера все в порядке и работает как часы.
Монитор до нельзя стандартный (Samsung 15 GLi) и в моделайне для него все
Ок. Кто-нибудь сталкивался? А то уж больно хочется в 4.0.3 поработать. Очень
похоже что память видюхи работает на нештатной частоте, но как это проверить
и чем поправить в Линухе - пока вопрос для меня открытый.
