Конечно. Хотя доля правды есть. Его тоже можно отключить.
У меня работает маршрутизатор с тремя Compex RL100 PCI
на 9, 10, 11 и тремя NE2000 ISA на 3, 5 и 12.
А чтобы было все прозрачно, пришлось в биосе каждому
PCI - слоту назначить прерывание (чтобы не Auto) и
NE2000 соответственно настроить.
А вообще, насколько я понял, работоспособность сетевой
карточки можно проверить только снаружи. Потому что изнутри
интерфейс пингуется, наверное, как стек протоколов. Если
настройки сети правильные, он пингуется, хотя сетевая
карточка может и не работать (проверял на паленой карточке).
