У меня тут два дня как ping пропал (совсем:( ) :
подключаюсь к провайдеру через модем,
подключение проходит с виду нормально, а пинга нет ни с кем.
Два дня назад все было окей.
Попробовал других провайдеров, юзеров, ядро, дистрибутив
(основной Мастер 2.2, загрузился Юниором 2.0).
Та же беда.
Железо, видимо, в порядке,
потому что под win98 связь работает.
И еще странно: за те же два дня
при загрузках линукса (Юниор 2.0, Мастер 2.2,
закономерности не обнаружил) время биоса
иногда оказывается впереди на +7ч от поясного (Новосиб).
Будто UTC кто-то включает...
В логах:
In parent: pppd pid 1997
Couldn't find interface ppp0: No such device
Kernel supports ppp alright.
Куда еще смотреть?
