Ставил Lilo и в /dev/hdb и в /dev/hdb1 и в /dev/hdb5. После этого всегда
естественно $ Lilo.
boot = /dev/hdb1
timeout = 500
prompt
vga = normal
root = /dev/hdb5
read-only
