Приветствую всех!
Нужен ежедневный бакап на ленточку. Есть стример HP T20Xi в сервере Intell
Lancewood, на нем Mandrake 7.0RE. Taper работает, но как-то все примитивно -
пофайловое копирование. Потому есть вопросы: Возможен ли полный бакап
системы? Например, если диск откажет ставлю другой, загружаюсь с дискетки
(та что создавалась во время инсталляции Mandrake) и с ленты все
восстанавливаю.
Этот номер пройдет? и какие тут могут ожидать трудности?
Нашел в И-нете Yosemite TapeWare - д.б. хорошая штучка для работы с МЛ, но
бесплатна только триал (30- дневная) версия. Может у кого что-то есть
подобное на примете?
Да, как Taper можно автоматизировать: запуск по времени суток и управление
через командную строку?
А может проще обычный tar использовать? Какие рекомендации, типа, сжимать
перед архивированием, кто какие опции использует?
