My ALT Linux Junior 2 boot in extended text video mode. As I understand, this is done by passing the parameter to kernel vga=791. Unfortunately the refresh rate in that mode is only 60Hz, and this is totally unacceptable - I need 85+. Where should I do that tuning? BTW: When I will tune my system up, I will probably be able to write some apps to make such tuning easier to others. Either usingGCC+GNOME, or Kylix(C++)...
