Hello!

11.1 minor release of Simply Linux operating system is available.

The build is available for x86_64 and AArch64, based on the 6.12 (LTS) 
kernel.

Updates

- Power management is implemented using power-profiles-daemon. There are 
3 different power profiles, a "balanced" default mode, a "power-saver" 
mode, as well as a "performance" mode. The "performance" mode is only 
available on select systems and is implemented by different "drivers" 
based on the system or systems it targets.

- Vulkan-amdgpu package has been removed from the distribution to 
improve compatibility (particularly with PortProton). It is recommended 
to use the stable and up-to-date RADV driver already present in the 
system. Basic support for NVIDIA graphics cards has been expanded by 
adding a number of packages and the latest nouveau driver (disabled by 
default).

- The standard audio mixer pavucontrol has been replaced by pwvucontrol 
for better integration with the modern PipeWire sound server. 
Pwvucontrol is more stable counterpart with an updated interface.

- The installer interface updated. The "Additional Components" 
subsection of additional package selection menu ("Games") is now 
installed by default.

- LightDM Greeter (Login Screen) updated, and the possibility of 
personalization using the Mugshot utility added.

- Xfce Desktop Environment Design Improved.

- Execute permission for the user's home directory is now provided by a 
file manager plugin Thunar Shares Plugin that allow sharing a folder 
from Thunar using Samba. Automatic assignment of execute permissions is 
no longer applied.
