Почему бы и не поддержать...
Ставьте на дистрибутив, который официально поддерживается.
Проблем Вам хватит и без "ректальной тонзилотомии".
Тем более БД и на 64 бита.
OEM и другие клиенты последних версий ставятся на альт без особого
труда...
