У решения своя ниша - сделать OS-independent RAID-1 для тех двух
дисков, с которых грузится ОС.
Да - он медленный, но свою задачу вполне решает, т. к. для ОС,
приложения которой грузятся в память один раз бОльшего и не надо.
А пытаться применить это вместо полноценного RAID - неумно, мягко
говоря.
