А что это такое ?
# rpm -qf redhat-set_hostname.sh
vzctl-4.9.4-alt1
if [ -f /etc/hostname ]; then
# New style: RHEL7/Fedora15+
# Note hostname(5) says it should NOT be FQDN
val=${val%%.*}
echo "$val" > /etc/hostname
else
Смотрю этот man 5 hostname (кстати, написано, что это systemd 219)
в CentOS, про NOT be FQDN не вижу что-то. Как там правильно hostname
назначать ? Пока закомментировал val=${val%%.*}, получил нужный
эффект. Но для чего-то же это было сделано ?
