Приветствую!
Есть ovz система на платформе 5.1 и ядре 2.6.18-ovz-rhel.
Захотел перевезти корень на IDE-CF под ext4.
Отформатировал, подмонтировал, перевез данные, поправил конфиги,
перегенерил initrd, lilo, добавил параметр rootfstype=ext4, без которого
корень пытался монтироваться как ext3,2 - не грузится, сволочь.
Заканчивается надписью:
Begin: waiting for root file system.
Ладно, думаю, утилиты старые, перееду на новые.
Гружусь в рабочую, mount -o bind {/proc,/sys,/dev}
apt-get dist-upgrade до p6, update-kernel -t ovz-smp, reboot
Тоже не выходит каменный цветок, пишет вот что:
...starting udev 1.68
...converting old udev rules
и висит...
Ну, это понятно из-за чего - на момент создания initrd /dev был от 5.1
Как бы тут выкрутиться? Может, есть у кого опыт?
Пока писАл, подумал про загрузку с rescue USB...
Возможно ли оставить 2.6.18?
