Почитал документацию, поставил, поигрался.
Сразу: во-первых в Сизифе он поломан в области storage/bdb (плагин
недолинкован и не грузится). Хотя насчет практичности его использования
сомневаюсь (не зря он "testing/storage/bdb" ) :)
К тому ТЗ что я недавно озвучил подходит целиком и полностью. Как и ко
многим другим -- это не кластерная _FS_ а конструктор кластерных FS. Набор
кубиков и простой конфиг в котором описывается как эти кубики соединять.
В случае сбоя или еще чего -- в отличии от многих других кластерных FS
получить доступ к данным можно с легкостью без каких-либо дополнительных
утилит (включая саму glusterfs), это большой плюс.
