если устроит сервер + агенты, то смотреть можно в сторону OCS_Inventory
на sf.net. по желанию можно ещё прикрутить glpi для сбора статистики
по установленному ПО.
скорее всего есть и аналогичные программы.
есть ли в самом линуксе такое и как его использовать - х.з. =)
