/bin/cp -a /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Kiev /etc/localtime
update_chrooted conf
(на всякий случай)
выставить время:
date -s 'Oct 15 2006 17:21'
или при наличии тырнета
ntpdate 193.193.193.107
Плюс в зависимости от того, есть ли рядом windows или ещё что,
следует проверить, в чём время в BIOS (если есть -- надо
местное, если только *NIX -- гораздо лучше GMT).
См. тж. /etc/sysconfig/clock,
/usr/share/doc/initscripts-5.49.1/sysconfig.txt
Соответственно для завершающего штриха заносим в BIOS --
hwclock --systohc --utc (если там будет GMT) или
hwclock --systohc (если местное)
