Наоборот (ix86 на x86_64) работает как минимум в apt-0.5.15lorg2-alt3.
Вообще говоря, apt/rpm можно заставить работать на ix86 для x86_64, но это
пока не очень автоматизировано. У Legion'а богатый опыт на эту тему,
может быть, он расскажет.
