Еще можно заметить, что в /etc/xinet.conf может стоять
only_from = 127.0.0.1
И еще , если это у Вас дистр Компакт3, то проверять доступ на фтп
пользователем, которому доступно su ненадо. Не пускает его pam, если для
локальных пользователей доступ к ftp делается..
