В процессе инсталляции подгрузил megaraid2.o max_cmd_per_lun=1
на max_cmd_per_lun=0 не реагирует, выставляет значение по умолчанию.
В таком варианте даёт поставить систему, и работает,
если собрать initrd c max_cmd_per_lun=1
то же самое с ядром из апдейтов 2.4.26-std-smp-alt13
Но возникает вопрос, а как сильно это повлияет на производительность?
Есть ли здесь хотя бы теоретические соображения?

Есть исходники драйвера версии 2.10.10.1
пытаюсь их собрать, поставил всё для сборки ядра из спека
(дистрибутивное ядро собирается без ошибок)
делаю rpm -bp <spec>
заменяю megaraid2.c и megaraid2.h на новые
комментирую в спеке часть %prep, чтобы он не снёс уже сделанное
rpm -bc --target i586 <spec>
Не выходит :( новые дрова не компилит.
Может, чего-то не так делаю?
