Я тоже недавно долго танцевал с бубном на эту тему.
Решал проблемы путем запуска slapd не из init-скрипта, а вручную. Он в
output с правильными параметрами много чего валит. Вот и предлагаю сначала
slapd позапускать ручками, и output в студию.
