Михаил, позвольте возразить. "Первый выпуск в ветке" во многих
дистрибутивах (Debian, Mandriva, etc) дополняется, в основном, закрытием
дыр в безопасности. А в ALTLinux, чаще всего, максимум первый выпуск
тянет на rc (тот же Server 4.0.0). Или еще хуже, когда очередной релиз
(не знаю как правильно назвать) оказывается хуже предыдущего.
Пример тому Desktop 4.0.2 и Desktop 4.0.3. Хочу заметить,
что я не первый год знаком с ALTLinux и не являюсь его ярым противником
(как местами и поклонником). Но, тем не менее, когда я обидевшись на
тупые глюки в данном дистрибутиве или на определенную грубость собщества,
пытался перейти на другой дистрибутив, все равно возращался к искомому
(по крайней мере, учитывая то, что живу я в России).
