Могу свое ИМХО изложить.
В SuSE мне понравилась интеграция с LDAP.
Есть достаточно вылизанные интерфейсы конфигурирования.
Если этих ручек из яста тебе хватает то SuSE отличный выбор.
Но как только перестает хватать - проще свалить на другой дистр и
сделать там.
