Как у вас получилось перевести слово "многие" в "все что написано из OS"?
Вы ещё IBM назовите энтузиастами пишущими для собственного развлечения.
Или Silicon Graphics. Или Sun Microsystems. Или даже Microsoft Research
(кои были замечены даже в публикациях под GPL, AFAIR, не то что просто
OS).

Реальный опыт показывает другое. Те же люди, которые считают ниже своего
достоинства покупать даже пиратское коммерческое ПО, исключительно копируя
друг у друга выкладывают крупные суммы на покупку коммерческих
дистрибутивов Linux.
