Любители (или уже нет :-) ) собирать всё из сорсов после обновления в виде
патчей из upstream могу пойти собрать так glibc. Только с начала потянуть
glibc-2.2.2.tar.gz и все патчи до .... э... 2.3.2 хотя бы. И потом матерится
при сборке, почему оно не собирается??? Правда, если говорить не просто "make
&& make install", а "make -i && make install -i" оно даже работает. Только
осадок от патчей лежит на душе ещё долго... ;-(
Самые нормальные патчи -- это "xdelta". Активно практикуется в KDE. И работает
что часики.
