Здравствуйте, All.
Знаю о письме Линуса к создателям GNOME. Итак, я согласен с Линусом -
GNOME во многом проигрывает KDE. Не смотря на все статьи, рекламу,
etc, GNOME давно уже перестал быть графической средой, которую люди
хотят ставить на DESKTOP. Хотя, те у кого хиЛое железо, изредка юзают
GNOME. Но всё же они чаще юзают fluxbox, blackbox, xfce, afterster, fvwm,
engleiment и даже window maker ( или сидят в консоли =) ).

Хотя не стоит забывать что некоторые программы из GNOME ( или
основанные на библиотеке GTK, GTK+ ) оставили
позади себя их аналоги из KDE, XFCE... Например, GKrellm,
GIMP....Лично я не испытываю комфорта при работе в KSysGuard.
