Уже разобрался (фигнёй страдал). Спасибо за ответ.
shrek@ недавно здесь советовал про DisplaySize. Вспомнил, что при
осизифливаний плевался меняя DisplaySize с 320x270 на 1280x1024 в
/e/X/xorg.conf. man xorg.conf почитал только сейчас. Вообще с xorg впервые
сталкиваюсь. Наверно, такое бывает.
