Лучше от distributions, потому что archives тоже бывают нужны (и
бывают локально).
Стандарт действительно хочется придумать. Может быть,
$ cat /etc/altlinux/repos | head -2
/Sisyphus/ /mnt/sisyphus
/archives/Sisyphus/2007 /mnt/arch1/sisyphus/2007
Получится такой fstab.
