hi all
что я делаю не так.
[root@alt ~]# fdisk -l /dev/sdb
Disk /dev/sdb: 120.0 GB, 120034123776 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 14593 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdb1 1 14593 117218241 8e Linux LVM
[root@alt ~]# pvcreate /dev/sdb1
Physical volume "/dev/sdb1" successfully created
[root@alt ~]# vgcreate vg0 /dev/sdb1
No physical volume label read from /dev/sdb1
/dev/sdb1 not identified as an existing physical volume
Unable to add physical volume '/dev/sdb1' to volume group 'vg0'.
Почему не создаётся VolumeGroup?
И ещё один сопутсвующий вопрос, Если под lvm отдаётся весь диск то ведь
можно и
# pvcreate /dev/sdb
Есть ли какие-то преимущества/недостатки? Или лучше создавать раздел?
