Вы точно уверены в том что для других кодировок нужны именно юникодные
шрифты для gtk2? Не верю!! Товарищи из pango не такие ламеры чтобы
использовать только юникодные шрифты для остального (коль они
используют однобайтные шрифты для latin-x и cyrillic, то могут использовать и
для других кодировок; наверняка для многобайтных кодировок есть хорошо
выглядищие шрифты не содержащие всех глифов для юникода).
