Я не разработчик altlinux (но я автор патчей для корректной печати русского
из гнумерика), но скажу:
Скорее всего у Вас стоят старые PS шрифты - попробуйте их обновить. Старая
версия шрифтов содержала некорректные метрики русских букв. (Честно говоря, я
не знаю насчет новой версии шрифтов - но кажется там ту проблему исправили. В
крайнем случае попробуйте шрифты шедшие со spring'ом).
Или у Вас древнейший gnumeric. С версии 0.64 все должно быть ОК.
По-любому, когда сообщаете о проблемах, приводите номера версий софта.
