У меня тогда есть радикальное предложение, забыть про lxpanel'овский раннер:
- в опенбокс хоткеи Win-R, Alt-F2 с lxpanelctl run перевести на gmrun
- в меню lxpanel пункт "выполнить" заменить с вызывания встроенного
раннера на выполнение конкретного приложения, /usr/bin/gmrun.
Править код, насколько я понимаю, не понадобится вовсе.
