Загнать 2.5млн файлов в tar?
Смысла не вижу, с этим прекрасно справляется rsync и скорость его
работы очень радует (с одного сервера на другой на 100Мбитном свитче
все скопировалось за ночь. Дальнейшие запуски rsync для синхронизации
изменений занимают минут 30-40.
