Помнится когда-то давно icesik@ что-то писАл об этом и вроде бы даже
обоснование приводил. Сейчас можно поискать в рассылке или спросить у
Игоря лично.
Сейчас поискал на search.altlinux.ru по словам "phpMyAdmin php5",
вторая ссылка кажется как раз та, о которой я говорил:

Как видим, phpMyAdmin вроде бы можно использовать и с РНР4 и с РНР5. И
ещё видно, что с варианты отличные от Apache 1.3 + php4 icesik@ просит
тестировать. Вообщем, возможны и баги :)
Резюмируя скажу: icesik@ отошел от дел и пакет phpMyAdmin поддерживать
не будет. Помня большие треды о том, что phpMyAdmin нафиг не нужен и
вечно дырявый я смею предположить, что вряд ли кто-то из Team захочет
этот пакет подхватить. Следовательно, Иван, если вы заинтересованы в
этом пакете, то настал ваш звёздный час -- вступайте в команду,
поддерживайте пакеты и давайте улучшать Sisyphus вместе! :)
